For the month of June, MWCC will truly be the home of Sydney Cycling with events covering all forms of cycling which will allow you to test yourself in a crit, road race, TT and cyclocross. If you are looking to pin on a number look no further than MWCC to cater for your needs in this festival of cycling.

With a calendar so full that it would rival a professional event company, enough events to look like  a whole season of events, rather it is just the festival of cycling that MWCC will be presenting in June. Cycling fans we present to you the following events that will get your heart pumping, your legs burning and plenty of pin holes in your cycling jerseys.

June 5

The Cycle Spot HART Starter Criterium.

For anyone who hasn’t ridden this course before, it is car free. It has a few testing corners and a short sharp little pinch in it. This course favours the brave and many a breakaway has been successful on this course. Spectators and those riders who have been spat out the back can take up prime viewing in the middle of the track, which allows you to view the Cycle Spot finish straight, along with the nasty little berg and the drag after it. The perfect start to your morning.

With only one grade on the course at a time it will allow for some wide open racing, with no ninjas hiding in other grades. Our usual graded races plus a Women’s Grade.

Enter via www.trybooking.com/LIKO

June 19

Cell Bikes Cyclocross

Come off road with us on June 19 for the Cell Bikes Cyclocross. This round of cyclocross will also be the NSW State Championship round. This course tests riders every month and we have divisions for those with cyclocross bikes and divisions for those that want to tackle the course on their mountain bike or unicycle. On the day we also offer the extremely popular kids races which are open to U/7, U/11 and U/13. The U/7 race is very much the battle of the balance bikes before we work our way up to the BMXs, mini mountain bikes. The kids are free and operate on a modified course.

CX is also a great spectator sport.

We will have online entry for the CX shortly.

For an idea of what to expect check out http://www.manlywarringahcc.org.au/racing/cellbikes-cyclocross-racing-may-15/ with an updated June event page launching soon.
