In a first for NSW Cycling riders will have the chance to race under lights this Saturday night – 29 March. This unique event is open to all Masters gold licensed riders and entries are being taken on the night. Certainly a different Saturday night is coming up.

The NSW Elite Criterium Championships are being held at the Sydney International Dragway, Eastern Creek and straight after those races have concluded Marconi Cycling Club are hosting Masters race straight after the Championship with the Masters races commencing at 9pm. You can enter on the night for $15.

Marconi have an action packed night of racing with the 1st race kicking off at 7pm with the U/19 men and Elite Women. This is the first time that an Elite championships has been hosted under lights. It will be a unique racing experience that could become like the famous US RedHook crits. Most importantly it is open to you to enter!

Race on the super smooth race surface, under lights in the cool night air with the fans cheering you on in the stands. This time you won’t be waking from a dream, but living it.

The voice of NSW Cycling Mr Paul Craft will be calling the races in his usual entertaining style. There will be a BBQ Sausage Sizzler and a coffee truck to keep the spectators fed and hydrated whilst watching this great night of racing. Spectators can sit in the Grandstand for a birdseye view of the races.
