Well, it’s back, bigger and better!! The Altitude Charity Challenge is on again this year, Saturday 27th August from 3pm-7pm.  Hosted by club sponsor, Altitude – The Height of Fitness this is a great afternoon on the bikes in the altitude lab raising funds for the Burns Unit at Sydney Children’s Hospital.

This year Altitude have teamed up with the NSW Fire and Rescue 400 in 4 Charity to raise funds for the Burns Unit at Sydney Children’s Hospital.  Last years Altitude Charity Challenge raised almost $40K so to be able to do that again would be amazing.  Altitude are having 10 teams, with 10 riders (less is ok) in each team. Altitude are hoping each team can collectively raise $2000 – a very achievable goal, but the more the better!! Last year one super member achieved more than that alone!

Of course, Altitude will have fantastic prizes again and it will be a great afternoon/evening with a DJ and BBQ provided.  Also, the individual registration fee of $35 includes an Altitude T-shirt.

The format of the afternoon/evening is teams ride at Altitude for four hours (split between the team) to reach the top at 4500m and back down….all to raise money for the Burns Unit at The Children’s Hospital.

Winning team is the team to complete the most kilometres x power over the two mountain stages of the Tour in the 4 hours.

All proceeds and donations going to the Westmead Children’s Hospital Burns Unit

So get sponsored, raise money and get your team pumped!

Altitude is located at Lower Ground, 563 Pittwater Road, Brookvale
